Interested in sharing your knowledge and experience as a Leader of the Performance Based Logistics Management task that provides guidance, direction, schedules, plans, organizes, and executes product support for the program office in support of Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV) systems and equipment? Then the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Panama City Division, Expeditionary and Maritime Systems Department, Panama City, Florida.

You will plan, monitor and control product support solutions to ensure timely delivery of material to maximize craft availability using supply chain management techniques.

You will utilize root cause analysis to assess system performance and conduct business case analysis to recommend courses of action for improving system performance.

You will review and approve training plans, maintenance concepts and maintenance procedures, and monitor training activities to optimize system availability while minimizing total operational costs.

You will monitor system costs, availability and other performance metrics of air cushion vehicle systems.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NT-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Reviewing maintenance procedures for air cushion vehicle (ACV) systems to identify discrepancies.
- Using suppy chain management techniques to review product support solutions.
- Monitoring the progress of contracts by ensuring proper utilization of government funds and that work is performed within the scope of the contract.
Or
- Ph.d or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. Applicants should meet the DAWIA Certification requirements for the "L" Career Field and be certified at Level "2" at the time of application. Knowledge of ACV systems - Reviewing training plans to ensure the application ACV maintenance concepts and procedures; Developing written procedures to communicate logistical requirements for ACV systems; Monitoring performance metrics (e.g., costs, availability) of ACV systems; Conducting analysis to identify changes to ACV system performance; Recommending courses of action for problems with ACV system performance.
